Google is combining Android Pay and Google Wallet into one service called Google Pay

Google just announced that it’s combining all of its different payment services, including Android Pay and Google Wallet, into one unified service, simply called Google Pay.

 the new system, payment information saved in your Google account will be available everywhere you use Google products: in Chrome for web purchases, in YouTube for renewing your subscriptions, in apps on Android for in-app purchases, and at retail outlets with NFC payments.

Samsung In Trouble In Nigeria Over Unregistered Products

The representatives of the company claimed ignorance of the need to register the products. They also denied reports that they imported or sold such products directly.

Nigeria’s Standards Organisation of Nigeria, SON – a public agency regulating products made or sold in Nigeria - on Tuesday sealed the premises of Samsung West Africa in Victoria Island, Lagos, for failure to register some of its products being marketed in Nigeria.

More trouble for Samsung as phone catches fire on plane

A United States flight was evacuated prior to takeoff when a passenger’s Galaxy Note 7 — reportedly a replacement in Samsung’s global recall — caught fire, landing the company in new controversy.

Samsung has been struggling with a recall of 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 handsets due to complaints of exploding batteries, a problem the replacement phones are supposed to fix.
